What the Word of God Actually Is
Christians often use “the Word of God” as another name for the Bible. That is true, but incomplete. Jesus is the eternal Word made flesh. Scripture is the inspired witness that brings us continually to him, and faithful proclamation places his promise into the ears of actual people.
