Sunday Setlist – July 19, 2009
This week was the second week of God at the Movies II and we looked at The Dark Knight and asked “Who Will Save Us?”. Great message and a perfect one for a communion service.
The Service
Sing to the King (E), Billy James Foote
Beautiful One (D), Matt Redman
Holy is the Lord (G), Chris Tomlin
Following the message, during communion…
Here I am to Worship (F), Tim Hughes
- We haven’t done this one in a really long time – good to break it out again!
Majesty (Here I am) (C), Martin Smith
Closing Song
Your Grace is Enough (A), Matt Mahar
While you’re at it, check out what other churches did over at the Sunday Setlist blog carnival. (Which, today, is a year old! Hard to believe it’s gone by so fast! Nice Job Fred and thanks for putting this together each week for all us worship leaders to connect through!) **CORRECTION – Next week it turns a year old, but we can still celebrate now! Bring on the birthday cake!**
Were you at Journey this week? Share your thoughts!
hey, working on today’s post now, actually NEXT WEEK is the birthday – today is the completion of 1 year … I had it wrong last week!
Well, 52 consecutive weeks of Sunday Setlists is a big enough achievement that we can celebrate for two Sundays! This week can be the “pre”-birthday party. 🙂
I just put Majesty on our summer practice CD. Hope to introduce it to the church in the fall. I like the sound of your Movies series – Dark Knight definitely provides plenty of questions that beg to be answered.
awesome choices …
