Living Worship – Part 3

Part 3 …in Love…

Continuing in our series of living our lives as worship, we need to exude love in all we do. The world around us needs to see us passionately in love with God and compassionately in love with people. We should make it our goal to reach out to those around us with kindness, gentleness and compassion to every person that God has created.

It’s not easy to love those around us all the time. Let’s face it – people can be jerks! They can be rude, obnoxious, and irritating. So how can you love those who are so… unlovable? The same way Jesus did. He saw people for who they were inside. He saw beyond the exterior – the fronts, persona’s, and masks that we all wear and saw the heart. He saw who needed to be comforted. He saw the good inside. He loved them for who they were and sometimes, in spite of who they were. That’s a pretty high standard to live up to. Those around us need to know that we love them and care about them – even the jerks.
