Journey’s Extreme Home Makeover 2009

Journey’s second Extreme Home Makeover took place this past weekend in Grand Rapids. Last year, we made over a house by replacing a roof, repairing a bathroom and painting inside and out. This year, we took on two homes – one getting mostly landscaping, major tree trimming and some minor work inside. The second getting paint inside and out and a new, more wheelchair-friendly kitchen.  From Thursday evening through Saturday night, over 160 volunteers came together to make a difference in the lives of two families.  It’s events like this that make me so proud of this wonderful group of people known as Journey of Faith.
