Today, we wrapped up or Ritual series looking at the ways we respond to God, specifically through prayer and offerings. It ended up being a great day, although it started out a bit like a roller coaster – I found out about 5 minutes before our warm-up that one of our singers was on her way to the hospital with tonsillitis and about 5 minutes after that, I found out that our worship leader for the day was sick. After the momentary panic wore off, we pulled together and made the best of it. I stepped up and led worship and the rest of the team did a fantastic job.
